Hey there,

Here is my weekly progress:

πŸ”₯ What went well last week?

- Managed to publish two articles on Stef's Dev Notes and one of them gained a lot of visibility.

- Interacted with 3 writers from the same area of interest via comments and messages.

- Managed to apply to around 30 companies in Stockholm area.

- Managed to find an optimal solution for my micro-frontend side project in order to support multiple frontend frameworks, with a high focus on Next.js.

🚧 What didn’t go as planned?

- I did not manage to write as many notes as I planned to.

- I got some rejections on my job hunting.

- I got a huge bottleneck on my side project regarding Module Federation plugin compatibility with Next.js and this made me spend more than on the architecture design and implementation.

πŸ’‘ What did you learn?

- I learned that some things will not always work as planned and that this will require a change of direction.

- I learned to take a break whenever I feel frustrated or overwhelmed.

- I learned that I need to adapt well to changing situations as a developer in order to thrive in today's work context.

- I learned essential information in building and designing micro-frontend architecture which has at its base Next.js.

πŸš€ What’s your focus for this week?

- Develop a system for creating substack notes.

- Create a survey to get to know better my readers and find out which are their needs and send it out to those who have high activity rate on my newsletter articles.

- Focus on interview preparation and develop a system to keep track of it.

- Document all the issues encountered on the first phase of the MVP and create a set-up guide.

- Continue working on the micro-frontend MVP by focusing on state management and micro-frontends communication.

Wow, you had a prolific week. 😊

I like that the focus for this week is more specific. Keep it going.

Also, I look forward to learning more about your system for creating Substack notes. I surely need one. πŸ˜†

πŸ”₯ What went well last week?

- I started a paid membership section for the newsletter.

- I started using the chat functionality and had my first chat interactions.

- I engaged with my paid readers and encouraged them to join the conversation and the chat.

- I have grown the community to 2 members, which means I have a yearly estimated donation of $4 (out of $200; I'm at 2%).

🚧 What didn’t go as planned?

- I was expecting more people to join by accepting the 60% off offer for the paid membership.

- I'm unsure if I failed to market it correctly or if there is no interest in the community.

πŸ’‘ What did you learn?

- People love to share what they know.

πŸš€ What’s your focus for this week?

- Ask the paid members how I can provide more value to them.

- Write a first draft for the Hero Post.
